My breathing quickens
Stomach in my throat
Smiling like a fool.
He spoke to me today.
Am I crazy
for feeling this way?

I want to scream
and jump with joy.
I want to throw
my arms around him.
I close my eyes and see
us walking hand in hand.

When he leaves I feel
as though a part of me is gone.
When he calls I can't help
but answer.
When he smiles I see
the future I desire.

Is this love or just
a young girls crush?

Small cuddleIt is only a cuddle,
A quite small cuddle.
I take your hand and
You take my arm.
We two intimate,
No lovers
Very soft friends and
Who understanding themselves,
Speaking the same language,
And in the black night
Want a light,
Doubtless and hopeless,

Ignorance is bliss"I'm so sorry. My emotions must be such an inconvenience to you." The words stung with bitterness and sarcasm as they rolled off my tongue without my consent. I instantly regretted saying them, now i was the bad guy again. Fucking lovely. I stared at the girl in front of me, her eyes clouded with tears, but she pushed them away and a false anger (much like my own) seemed to sweep over her.

About A Girl.She's sitting so close to me.
I can almost feel the warmth
from her skin.
Oh, how badly I want to touch her.
To grab her hand,
and steal her away from this world.
She doesn't deserve
to go through all of this pain.
I've seen her scars,
and I know she's seen mine.
There's a butterfly on her wrist.
She's giving me subtle hints.
I steal a glimpse,
and our eyes lock.
My heart is racing.
Can she hear it?
Thoughts soar through my mind.
If only she knew,
she would be mine.

She Doesn't KnowShe doesn't know
that her name actually sounds like music to my ears;
that the way she flicks her cigarettes makes me love her more.
She doesn't know
that I love when she falls asleep midsentence,
or that my new tattoo will always remind me of her.
She doesn't know
that the 5 short weeks we spent together changed my life forever
and that I meant it when I said that I'd never been happier.

But I want her to know all those things.

that no one can ever replace her.

that I still love her so much it hurts.

that, whether I like it or not, I get why she can't be with me right

Two wrinkled hands intertwined with one another.
Their frail legs moving at a notably slow pace.
They always come in to the store every Sunday morning.
Buying their weekly packets of bird nuts and wild berries.
The elderly man always gives me a subtle wink whenever he sees me.
Comments on the amount of female partners I should be courting.
While the elderly women casts an innocent smile.
Ignoring her husbands repeated jokes and tugs him out the store.

The next week the elderly man is pushing his wife about the store.
His arms straining from the weight of the wheel chair.
He holds up two variations of bird berries

You left me to die...I wanted to touch your lips today,
But you were to far away,
And though I tried to to reach you,
You stayed beyond my reach.

I wanted you to hold me,
But this you did deny,
And I was left here standing,
As you turned away.

I wanted to tell you I loved you,
But you were deaf to my voice,
And though I screamed as loud as I could,
You just turned away.

Your always hiding from me,
Why not just come out and say,

I see the beauty within you
Do you see it in me?
You're a girl with a heart
A girl with an open mind

Do you feel what I do?
Do you feel the chemistry?
I didn't expect this to happen
It was the furthest thing from my mind

But that's how it goes, isn't it?
Infatuation and hope springs up
When least expected
When my guard is down

Are you willing to try?
Do you get excited when you hear my name?
Like I do with yours?
My heart jumps when I see you

I want to take the chance
But I don't want to scare you away
I want to show you what we could be
